Walk for missing and murdered Indigenous Women on May 5th 2017 @ 9:00 AM BIA Parking Lot

Created on 2017-05-02 8:33, last modified on 2017-05-02 8:33

May 5th 2017 will be a nationally recognized day in memory and honor of all missing and murdered Indigenous Women. This is no coincidence because May 5th is Hannah Narris’ Birthday. Hannah had a bright future and touched many lives with her kind and bubbly spirit. She was always willing to help others. Hannah was murdered, her life cut short on July 4th 2013 here on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation.

She is survived by her Son, Mother, Father and numerous other family members who miss her dearly. Her Family continue to strongly advocate for missing and murdered Indigenous Women. Let’s support the Harris family and the many other families of missing and murdered Indigenous Women. Let us support those whose family members are still missing…Women are sacred.

Walk begins at 9:00 A.M @ the BIA and ends at the Tribal Chambers
